3rd graders are learning about Egypt in their classrooms. In art we drew a Sarcophagus and used Hieroglyphics and patterns to decorate it. They traced the drawing onto a piece of scratch board paper and then scraped away the top layer of black ink.

3rd graders used oil pastel techniques like blending and rubbing to create a fall landscape. They looked at photos and learned some ways to show depth in a picture.
3rd grade students learned about the proportions of their face, how to color realistically, and glued their face to a patterned marker frame. |
