![]() Pablo Picasso painted with many different styles. For hundreds of years artists tried very hard to paint things so they would look real. Then Picasso came along and started to paint people and things that didn't look the way they were supposed to look. Many of Picasso's paintings look funny because of the way he moves the eyes, noses, and chins around. 6th graders learned about abstraction techniques and painting techniques.

Kindergarten made Native American Vests to wear for their Thanksgiving Feast. They learned how to cut fringe and draw with symmetry.
5th grade used oil pastels to draw a cornucopia that shows what they are thankful for. There is also a display of 1st grade texture turkeys up in the art hall. It was great to see so many families at the reception last night! Here are a few photos of some of the talented artists with their artwork. The show will stay up for two weeks so feel free to visit during business hours.
