2nd graders cut out a body in motion and added lots of details to show how the figure is moving. Some are dancing, playing sports, or performing karate.

Sixth grade painting challenge: There is an undeveloped piece of land in your community. What do you think should be there? What would be the most beneficial to the community? Students came up with a park, movie theater, mall, playground, airport, sports fields, graveyard, memorial, library, and many more ideas! Please join us in celebrating our Haycock Artists at the final community art show. The show is currently on display, and will be up until June 8th. You may visit it at any time during regular bank business hours. On Wednesday, June 1st from 4:30-5:30pm, we will have an informal art reception to honor the students who have art on display.
Bank Address: 7787 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22043 (On Rt 7, just before the 495 interchange.) Fourth graders pretended that they were on a ship looking through a porthole and discovered a new land. This is what the land looked like through the window. In progress... Finished projects!
We have spent many weeks stitching and sewing on burlap. Second graders learned the back stitch, couching stitch, satin stitch, and how to add beads if they wanted. They chose either a bug or a butterfly as their design. Here are some of the finished projects!
