Fourth graders learned how to twist and bend wire to create a figure in motion. They also decorated a base to show where the person is posing.

Congratulations to the following artists on display: Kinder - Nicky, Clara, Liam, Brigit 1st - Avi, Ben, Abbie, Rasa 2nd - Addie, Megan, Ryan 3rd - Campbell, Brayden, Sofie, Ariel, Annaliese, Emma, Michelle 4th - Leah, Kristina 5th - Joshua, Yuna, Luz, Ruby, Blaire, Jack, Paurav 6th - Owen, Dasha, Molly, Anish, , Emily F, Tyler 1st graders sculpted clay birds and glazed them as either a cardinal or blue jay. Check out how bright they are now! I wanted to let you know about a county-wide competition sponsored by FCPS Get2Green. Get2Green promotes recycling and environmental education in FCPS. The Mascot Challenge encourages a school team to create their mascot out of recycled materials. Details are attached. Information has been sent to principals, recycling clubs, and environmental teachers at your school.
2nd grade and 5th grade students have been painting landscapes. They learned how to layer paint and use a 3 step process to create textures and depth.
